Walmart is seeking an Intermediate Java Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and Kafka.

Contract to Hire

Job Overview

Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework
Design and implement database schemas, and write complex SQL queries
Work with Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Roles and Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2-5 years of experience in Java development
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience with agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus
